'Orange Is the New Black' season 3 spoilers: New inmates, prison conflicts and more

 Netflix

"Orange Is the New Black" season 3 will premiere this Friday, which means that the girls inside the Litchfield Penitentiary will soon be back with more prison drama.

Netflix recently released the extensive trailer for the upcoming season showing new inmates entering the penitentiary. It includes one hot inmate, portrayed by Australian model actress Ruby Rose.

In the trailer, Rose's character Stella Carlin flirts with Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling). This could pose a threat to Piper and Alex Vause's (Laura Prepon) relationship, since Alex will find herself back in prison. There are also reports claiming that both Piper and Alex will be attracted to Stella, which means that a love triangle will be featured this season.

"There's definitely a love interest, and she comes in a package of a hot, tattooed Ruby Rose," Prepon recently told the Entertainment Weekly. "She definitely shakes things up."

Rose told Australia News Limited that joining the cast of "Orange Is the New Black" season 3 earned her new friends, and everyone in the set welcomed her with open arms. She also mentioned that she never felt intimidated when she first appeared on location. The actress-DJ also said that despite having an amazing career back in Australia, being in the show gives her something more.

"There is so much girl power," Rose stated.

On the other hand, actress Laverne Cox told TV Line that her character Sophia will have an important storyline this season. In the trailer, Sophia is shown having a heated argument with Gloria (Selenis Leyva). Could it lead to a big fight? Cox also said that the second part of the upcoming season will be more exciting, and "the first six episodes are hints of things to come."

Netflix will release all 13 episodes of "Orange Is the New Black" season 3 on Friday, June 12.
