Although, the manga got the fans more worried than thrilled as the fate of the Straw Hat pirates hangs in the balance, especially after the disastrous attack of Big Mom. In the upcoming chapter 901, more details will be revealed following the apparent destruction of the Straw Hat's Thousand Sunny ship.
According to OtakuKart, "One Piece" chapter 901 will show the outcome of the Big Mom pirates' assault on the Thousand Sunny. However, the fans still doubt if the Straw Hat pirates' ship was actually destroyed. It is even speculated that the harrowing scene at the end of the previous chapter could only be a product of hallucination. Perhaps, one of Big Mom's children has the power to play with the minds of people, thus the Straw Hat pirates might only be led to believe that their ship has been wrecked.
Whether the Thousand Sunny ship has actually survived or not, the future looks grim nonetheless for the Straw Hat pirates in "One Piece" chapter 901, especially as Big Mom has now regained her full physical strength. The female Yonkou pirate finally ate the delicious wedding cake at the end of the previous chapter, which made the villain more powerful than ever.
Unfortunately for the Straw Hat pirates, this means less chance of survival as even Luffy does not have enough power to contend with Big Mom.
With this, some fans at the One Piece Forum believe that "One Piece" chapter 901 will end in a big escape. Knowing that the enemy is too powerful to be defeated, the Straw Hat pirates will be left with no choice but to run away from the Big Mom pirates.
It is possible that they will be able to escape from Cacao Island, and chapter 901 will be filled with flashback scenes on how the Straw Hat pirates were able to survive Big Mom's onslaught. Although, with the entire fleet of Big Mom's forces surrounding Luffy and his allies, there might be no other way for them to escape. In the end, the much-awaited battle between Luffy and Big Mom could still happen.
