However, the Straw Hat pirates have no reason to let their guards down even after Katakuri's defeat, as the rest of Big Mom's children will continue hunting them down in "One Piece" chapter 897.
According to the latest plot predictions for "One Piece" chapter 897, the threat of the Big Mom pirates against the Straw Hats are far from over, even after the fall of Katakuri in the previous chapter. Nevertheless, Luffy already has one less opponent to worry about, but outside the Mirror World, Big Mom's children are now in position to capture the Straw Hat leader. Considering that Luffy is also severely worn out after using the Gear 4th Snakeman technique, he will stand no chance against the other Sweet Commanders. Fortunately for him, Sanji is on his way to save him in the Mirror World, but he may also need to confront his own family, particularly Ichiji Vinsmoke, as they are also following the orders of Big Mom.
After the intense fight with Katakuri, Luffy gained the former's respect, given the fact that the Straw Hat leader even decided to face him the second time around inside the Mirror World in order to enhance his own skills.
