Japanese manga series "One Piece" chapter 895 is set to elevate the fight between Luffy and Sweet Commander Katakuri to a whole new level. Fans have been on edge with speculations on how Luffy can defeat his opponent. However, toward the latter part of the recent "One Piece" chapter, Eiichiro Oda drops a hint in the last panel.
This is where the Gear 4th Technique enters the scene. Chapter 895 confirms that Luffy does have more gears in his bag. Oda reveals the Snakeman which, as the name implies, will have some snakelike qualities, as each gear is based off the animals from Ruskaina. Fans can expect that unlike the case with the Tank Man, Luffy will become more flexible and a bit as stretchy as snakes can be.
Fans also speculate that since snakes are slippery in nature, Luffy will also become more evasive and hard to catch in combat. As Luffy and Katakuri continue their battle in the Mirror World, a lot is at stake with the emergence of the Snakeman as Luffy was left with little power from their fight.
The Anime Scrollsspeculate that this Gear 4th will be reliant on speed and Observation Haki. As seen in chapter 894, Luffy coated his eyes with Advanced Armament Haki which may help strengthen his Observation Haki. With the potential speed of the Snakeman combined with Luffy's Future sight, this might just be the protagonist's strongest weapon yet. However, Katakuri can also see the future and knows how to react to impending attacks. Since he has a better advantage at this Future sight and can see it longer than Luffy can, fans also speculate that the latter might finally be able to catch up to him.
Wamiq Fida from Otakukart also mentions that "One Piece" has hinted at the significance and power of the Shogun of Wano, who is one of the most talked about characters of the entire series. His significance might further surface in the upcoming episodes.
Fans can expect "One Piece" chapter 895 to be finally released by the third week of February.
