The second bout of the face-off between Luffy and Big Mom's Sweet Commander, Katakuri, continues on the next chapter of "One Piece." In chapter 893, the fans will get to see how the Straw Hat pirate leader will fare against Katakuri, who is now joined by his sister, Charlotte Flampe. It appears that Luffy is now on the losing side of the battle, but according to the latest spoilers, he is about to get the upper hand by unlocking a new Observation Haki power-up.
Comic Book recapped that Luffy has been easily beaten up by Katakuri in the previous chapters of "One Piece," even as the former has been slowly understanding the secret behind the Observation Haki. This Haki allows the user to see a glimpse of a few seconds into the future, thus making him better prepared for any upcoming attacks. Katakuri was able to master the Observation Haki, and Luffy wishes to learn this technique as well. This is the reason why Luffy decided to enter the Mirror World once again and wait for Katakuri to regain his strength so that the two of them can fight once again.
Luffy heard from Rayleigh earlier in the manga that in order to hone his Observation Haki, he needs to sharpen up his instincts by going through an intense battle. Unfortunately, Katakuri has continuously defeated Luffy every time the latter attempts to use the Observation Haki. Although, Luffy's Haki was proven to be effective when Flambe attacked him with her poison needles, to which the pirate has successfully evaded, per Reddit.
In "One Piece" chapter 893, Luffy is expected to surprise Katakuri once again as he will be able to fully master the Observation Haki. This latest power-up will eventually help Luffy to defeat Katakuri, along with Charlotte Flambe, once and for all. After the fall of the two Charlotte soldiers, he can finally escape from the Mirror World and return to the actual dimension, wherein his fellow Straw Hat pirates are in danger of being killed by the raging Big Mom herself. Hopefully, Luffy's Observation Haki power-up will be enough to defeat the fearsome Yonkou as well.
