The Storybrooke heroes will face a lot of challenges when "Once Upon a Time" returns for season 6.

During the show's panel at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, it was revealed that the first three minutes of the premiere episode for season 6 will feature a confrontation between Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) and Jafar (Oded Fehr). But it looks like the Disney protagonist may be on the losing end of their conflict, since he appeared to be very weak and was even asking the evil Jafar to end his life quickly.

It seems like the Storybrooke heroes might make it a point to save Aladdin in the episode titled "The Savior." According to the Inquisitr, Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) and Aladdin may have shared a connection, since both of them are known as the "saviors." Could the heroes make it to Agrabah in time to rescue Aladdin before it's too late?

Meanwhile, the heroes must also face the wrath of the Evil Queen after Regina got rid of her completely towards the end of season 5. Lana Parilla, the actress who portrays both roles in the series, revealed during the 2016 SDCC, according to E! News, that the Evil Queen will be very furious when the series returns.

"I think the Evil Queen feels betrayed by Regina. She was such a part of her, and then she just got kicked out, so she's not happy about that," Parrilla said. "But I think she's definitely going to have fun in the process to make everyone pay for it."

Parilla also teased that Regina will find it a challenge to live without the strains of evil in her personality.

"I don't think Regina will ever be just simply Regina. Regina's always going to be Regina, let's be honest," she stated. "That sass isn't going anywhere."

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 will premiere on Sept. 25.
