'Once Upon a Time' season 5B: Wes Brown to appear as Belle's suitor Gaston

Belle (Emilie de Ravin) has always been behind Rumpelstiltskin's (Robert Carlyle) back despite all the evil mischief that he did in "Once Upon a Time." But a former suitor will soon surface when ABC's fairy tale drama returns for the second half of season 5.

Variety exclusively reported that "True Blood" star Wes Brown will portray the role of Belle's treacherous suitor Gaston. He will take over the role that actor Sage Brocklebank portrayed during the first season of "Once Upon a Time."

This means that the still-undated episode will bring viewers back to the time before Belle met Rumple.

Aside from "True Blood," Brown also appeared in other TV series like "90210," "Private Practice," and "Hart of Dixie." He was also part of the regular cast of NBC's short-lived drama "Deception."

Meanwhile, previous reports revealed that Robbie Kay will reprise his role as Peter Pan for the 100<sup>th episode of "Once Upon a Time."

The character was first introduced during the third season of the series, but he died in the first half of season 3.

Since the residents of Storybrooke will visit the Underworld to look for Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), Peter Pan and the other dead villains will reappear in the special 100<sup>th episode of the series.

However, Kay refused to talk about Peter Pan's involvement in the upcoming episode when he was interviewed by Comic Vine.

"I always say I can't say much. I'm not sure how much I can say, but it's going to be a refreshing kind of spin on the character," Kay said. "You're going to see a little bit in a different light. Obviously a lot has happened in the two or so years since we saw him. A lot has happened, I think he's learned from what has happened in Season 3. There might be a little remorse. It makes him more interesting, I think. There's a little bit of a redemption factor in there for him now."

The 100<sup>th episode will also mark the return of "Once Upon a Time" season 5 on March 6 on ABC.
