Nexus 6P vs Galaxy Note 5 comparison: Flagships side by side

New smartphones keep entering the market, with new models coming out almost every month. Just recently, Google announced that it will be releasing two new smartphones, including the latest Nexus 6P device that can allegedly best most smartphones in the market today.

Based on reports, the camera features of the next-generation Nexus 6 smartphone can be compared with the camera of Samsung's recently released Galaxy Note 5, which is believed to have one of the best smartphone cameras to date.

Gotta Be Mobile recently reported that the Huawei-manufactured Nexus 6P for Google sports a 12.3-MP camera, which is allegedly the best camera made for the tech giant to date. It has a larger 1.55 um sensor that receives more light even without image stabilization. Samsung Galaxy Note 5's 16-MP primary camera can capture clear images anytime.

But aside from their cameras, what are the features of Nexus 6P and Samsung Galaxy Note 5 that make them stand out?

The latest Google device has a 5.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 2560 x 1440 resolution with a Fingerprint Sensor. It also comes with Snapdragon 810 chipset with Quad-core 1.55 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A57 processor and an Adreno 430 GPU. This smartphone is equipped with 3 GB of RAM with internal non-expandable memory options including 32 GB, 64 GB, and 128 GB.

And since this is a flagship Google smartphone, it comes with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5

Released one month prior to the Nexus 6P, the flagship device from the South Korean electronic device manufacturer also comes with a 5.7-inch screen with the same 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution, but it has a Super AMOLED touchscreen display. Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 5 has an Exynos 7420 chipset with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU and a Mali-T760MP8 graphics processor. It has 4 GB of RAM, but unlike the Nexus 6P, Samsung's device only comes with 32 GB and 64 GB memory options.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is equipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
