New 'Fable' game to be made by 'Forza Horizon' developers Playground Games?

It looks like the role-playing game (RPG) "Fable" is getting another revival game after the release of "Fable Fortune" five years after the latest game. Unlike the previous games, the new "Fable" title will actually be made by Playground Games, courtesy of Microsoft as well.

According to Eurogamer, Microsoft has apparently given Playground Games the rights to make a new "Fable" title. Given the newer technology since the last "Fable," this new title may most likely be a bigger game, and it will definitely have a story-driven game.

This also comes after Playground Games previously reporting that they will be trying to make a new game in a totally different genre. As fans know, the developer company is mostly known for the racing game "Forza Horizon," so taking up this series and putting up a new game for it will be a big responsibility. Fans will undoubtedly be expecting a lot from it.

Fable's co-creator, Simor Carter, recently had an interview via Eurogamer sharing his thoughts about a new "Fable" game, although not necessarily the one to be made Playground Games. He says that he has slightly mixed feelings. "On the one hand it's great for the UK games industry, and very pleasing that Fable isn't dead," he started.

He continues, "On the other hand it is a little curious to get rid of the team that is uniquely expert in making Fable, and then try and make Fable." He also says that "Fable" might be quite hard to understand for a new group of developers, much less to make another one of it. However, he still seemed confident in Playground Games' team, as he later shared, "That said, the team in question is very talented, and I'm sure they'll do a fantastic job."

There is not much yet known about the new "Fable" game. Like, Carter, fans will be interested to see what Playground Games will do with an already established title.
