"Necromunda: Underhive Wars," the turn-based tactical role-playing game (RPG) adaptation of tabletop game by Games Workshop currently being developed by Rogue Factor and will be published by Focus Home Interactive, released a teaser trailer on March 6.

According to PC Gamer, "Necromunda: Underhive War" is about an ongoing war between rival gangs in an immense, neglected domain that subsists underneath the millennia-old Hive Cities on the horrendous planet of Necromunda. Wccftech reported that players can choose between the gangs as they fight over who can rule the Underhive. At the moment, there are two gangs players can choose from — the Eschers, an all-female gang who were infamous for selling drugs and chemicals throughout the Underhive and the Goliaths, burly warriors who worship physicality and use strength-enhancing drugs to win every fight. More gangs for players to choose from will be unveiled soon.

Players will have the chance to organize their chosen gang based on the warfare style they are going after. Fighters are customizable in loadout and appearance and have an access to careers which will grant them supplementary skills, traits, weapons and visual elements. Players must make use of the natural terrain of the Underhive to the best of their advantage. However, they must be warned that although every battle won will grant gang members more powerful skills and loot, there is always a possibility of death and injuries which players must accept as a consequence of the battle.

Wccftech reported that new gameplay details have been revealed. Apparently, "Necromunda: Underhive Wars" will be sporting RPG elements as well as a deep unit customization. Moreover, Wccftech reported that there has been a confirmation regarding the existence of a Conquest Mode which offers an endless campaign featuring 4X mechanics.
