Will fans finally see Nell (Renee Felice Smith) and Eric (Barrett Foa) giving in to their feelings once "NCIS: Los Angeles" returns for its seventh season?

For the past six seasons of the police procedural series, the NCIS resident Intelligence Analyst and Technical Operator have been showing signs that they like each other, but the two never acted on it. But things just might change between them in season 7, according to the teasers shared by the actors when they appeared at the MCM Comic Con in London over the weekend.

"I think they like to tease it but, I mean, let's be honest, the show's not ending tomorrow so they have to keep it going," Smith told Connected Digital World

However, the actress said that Nell and Eric's possible relationship will still be overshadowed by the fan-favorite "Densi" pair.

"With Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), it's kind of tough to have two couples that are actually together at the same time and to show all of that," Smith stated. "We've kind of taken a break from the Eric and Nell story while Kensi and Deeks are kind of in the heat of their relationship."

Meanwhile, UnrealityTV UK reported that Callen's (Chris O'Donnell) relationship with kindergarten teacher Joelle (Elizabeth Bogush) will have a rough patch in the coming season. Does this mean that Callen will be open to starting a new relationship with new girl Anastasia Kolcheck (Bar Paly) when the series returns this fall?

Talking with HuffPost Live,O'Donnell already hinted at the possibility of his character having a new love interest in the next installments of the series, and that she will be someone who is connected with a character that was featured in the show's past episodes. Coincidentally, Anna is related to Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Rugunis), Callen's friend and former KGB officer.

"NCIS: Los Angeles" returns with season 7 on CBS this fall.
