NBA trade rumors: Kevin Durant not considering move to Houston Rockets; Dwight Howard to exit Clutch City?

NBA superstars Kevin Durant and James Harden hanging out isn't something that people should associate with free agency, according to sources.

The former teammates were recently spotted chilling in a restaurant and the NBA trade rumor mills now think Harden is trying to talk the Oklahoma City Thunder megastar into switching to his team, the Houston Rockets.

According to ESPN, this is not an attempt by Harden to persuade his colleague, who he was teammates with for three seasons, into signing up to Houston Rockets.

In addition to the fact that their get together is something they actually do quite regularly, ESPN says that even Harden is trying to sway Durant and even the Rockets actually want to have him on board, it isn't a team that he is considering joining in the NBA trade.

Durant, who will be in the NBA trade block for the first time, is simply expected to stay on the team and will get the option to be on free agency summer next year.

However, KD is still expected to meet up with interested teams with the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors set to aggressively persuade him into parting from his beloved team.

Meanwhile, Dwight Howard's stay on Rockets is still up in the air. According to The Sixer Sense, the team worked to hire Mike D'Antoni to make sure that their center will shop for a new team.

As per NBA trade rumors, chemistry between the Rockets and Howard, whose style doesn't line up with the Rockets' and the former Philadelphia 76ers coach's offense plan, will no longer be attained.

If Howard were to stay, D'Antoni, who is believed to have butted heads with him when they worked together with the Los Angeles Lakers, hopes Howard will "play a certain way".

It will be up to the new Rockets coach to let Howard stay or pack his bags, but rumors have it that Clutch City already has its eyes on Nerlens Noel of Philadelphia 76ers, whose play style fits him right in D'Antoni's offense the team plans to implement.
