Earlier NBA trade rumors suggest that Kevin Love will be on his way out of Cleveland Cavaliers and into the Boston Celtics should his team lose the championship to Golden State Warriors. Now, there's word he might be headed to the New York Knicks instead.

As per the latest NBA trade rumors, Love is expected to fill the gap for the team when Carmelo Anthony is purportedly traded to Cleveland to fulfill his and his good friend LeBron James' plans to play together in the future.

According to Jonathan Tjarks of The Ringer, this genius NBA trade possibility "almost makes too much sense for it now to happen" and that it will be the perfect switch with all the parties enjoying a win.

"The 27-year-old embeds within Kristaps Porzingis' timetable in New York better than the 32-year-old Anthony, and it's not clear how a rebuilding Knicks team will be able to contend in the remaining years of Carmelo's prime," Tjarks wrote.

"Carmelo and LeBron have talked about playing together for years, while Carmelo's ability to attack off the dribble as a 3/4 combo forward is exactly the player the Cavs need to contend with the Warriors," he added.

Nunes Magician believes that it might just be the best way to go as the Cavs may be better off with Love, who might easily strike chemistry with the Knicks. The publication says that it would seem that Cleveland played better without Love.

Meanwhile, according to SB Nation, Love's move to Boston Celtics is still the likeliest to happen. Cavaliers will happily trade Love to the Green and White team, who will, in turn, give James' squad the fresh talents and wing defense it needs.

Although Love has signed a contract until 2019 with no-trade clause, he is deemed the first to be on the NBA trading block if changes need to be done. For now though, his fate lies in the result of the NBA finals.
