It looks like 2K Games will delay the release of another set of "NBA 2K16" locker codes until February.

The game studio released a jam-packed "NBA 2K16" update during the holiday, including several locker codes as well as some holiday-themed and Marvel-themed jerseys. But players might have to wait a little longer before a new batch of locker codes will be revealed.

According to a recent report on The Bit Bag, 2K Sports is possibly focused on the ongoing #NBAVote poll promo to determine whom the fans want to be featured as the next "NBA 2K16" cover athlete. The report speculated that the result of the poll could also determine the content of the next batch of locker codes for the game.

The previously released batch of locker codes represent some of the best players in the history of NBA, including:

  • Shaquille O'Neil: GSUM3-ESARX-GXD3T-S3QJQ-FIETU
  • Karl Malone: Q1585-CPEWU-HZNWY-WK2EW-V1E4C
  • Isaiah Thomas: XFQDT-TMQ6Z-I1TM6-8Q8J5-WNJGQ
  • Michael Jordan: FZV7P-FQ9SU-SRNZZ-9AB27-9ZUUT
  • Larry Bird: ZG9QQ-VYAVK-I2ZUD-TU2VL-ZFYLQ

Limited Dynamic Diamond Stephen Curry locker codes were also released during that time. To avail of this, players must type AVVAO-NEK9A-RSZML-E3H00-W1WXJ on their gaming devices.

While waiting to release the new set of locker codes, the game studio recently released a Roster Update for "NBA2K16" to match the real-time ranking of NBA players during the current basketball season.

Based on the Roster Update, several players will have a one-point increase in their previous attributes, including Kobe Bryant, John Wall, Kevin Durant, Andre Drummond, Chris Paul, Manu Ginobili, Carmelo Anthony, DeMarcus Cousins, DeMar DeRozan, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Pau Gasol, Nikola Vucevic, Karl-Anthony Towns, Reggie Jackson, Gordon Hayward, and Avery Bradley.

Meanwhile, Kemba Walker, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler will all have a two-point increase in the current attributes.

Despite the Roster Update, Stephen Current remains on top of the list. He is followed by LeBron James while Kawhi Leonard and Russell Westbrook dominated the third and fourth spot. James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Anthony Davis all share the fifth place.
