While PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC users were initially the only ones who were able to play "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy," Nintendo Switch users can finally join in on the fun as well. The three-game compilation will finally be available on Switch next month.

The game is based on the story of the Japanese manga and anime series titled "Naruto Shippuden." The story follows the character Naruto Uzumaki, a young orphaned ninja on a quest to master his powers and someday becomes Hokage, or leader, of his home village.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy" follows Naruto's story, from his early beginnings as a ninja to the Fourth Great Ninja War chapter. The compilation includes "Ultimate Ninja Storm," "Ultimate Ninja Storm 2," and "Ultimate Ninja Storm: Full Burst."

Bandai Namco, developer of the "Naruto Shippuden" games, released a trailer announcing the trilogy's availability on Nintendo Switch. The trailer also showed how the game runs on the platform.

The first "Ultimate Ninja Storm" came out in 2007, the second in 2010, and the third in 2013. There is also a fourth installment in this series, "Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," which came out in 2016. However, the fourth installment is not included in the compilation.

Those three are base games, which, if bought on their own, will not include additional content. However, the Nintendo Switch edition of the compilation will include free DLC, which includes some but not all the game's costumes.

While this compilation only includes three of the "Ultimate Ninja Storm" games, another compilation carries all four. Unfortunately, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy" is only available on PS4 and Xbox One.

However, for players on Nintendo Switch who want to try their hand at playing the "Naruto Shippuden" games, the trilogy may be a good choice. There is no word yet from Bandai Namco if they plan on making "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy" compatible with Switch, but it may be possible.

"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy" will come out on April 26. Interested buyers can avail of a digital copy from Nintendo's eShop.
