The "Naruto" series lives on, as Bandai Namco formally announced that a new installment of the video game featuring one of the best loved anime series of all time will come out next year. According to reports, Bandai Namco tapped CyberConnect2 to come up with "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

The news was announced by Bandai Namco Games Europe Vice President of IP Strategy Herve Hoerdt, saying, "The Storm series continues to be one of our most popular franchises and its leap to the new generation of hardware ensures that it won't stop now. Our long-time partner, CyberConnect2, has always poured their hearts into the Naruto franchise and 'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' looks forward to the ultimate realization of the series!"

Although details about the reported "Naruto Shippuden" game title are scarce as of the moment, the game developer said that the video game will take off exactly where the third installment of the game ended. However, the company said that fans should expect to see huge improvements on the graphics of the game.

This game will be the sequel of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution" which was released on July 2, 2014 in both English and Japanese languages in the last-generation gaming consoles edition.

Aside from the new video game title, "Naruto" will also have a new movie that will be released next year after "The Last: Naruto the Movie" was released last Dec. 6. It will reportedly focus on Naruto's children with Hinata. This means that although the final volume of the original Naruto manga series was released last Nov. 10, the franchise will not end anytime soon.

The soon to be released "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" video game title will reportedly come out sometime next year.
