'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' DLC 2 news: Everything to know about the Gaara expansion pack

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Bandai Namco

The second DLC for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" centers on red-headed shinobi Gaara and fans will get to know more about his origins and epic adventures in this upcoming DLC.

The expansion pack is set during "The Last: Naruto the Movie," where Gaara attempted to save Naruto from the Moon, which was set to be destroyed after it spewed out meteors.

Interestingly though, the Gaara-centric "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC is expected to feature Gaara and Naruto's clash – the same brawl that formed their friendship.

Fans will remember that during the days that Gaara hated the world, the two engaged in a battle where Naruto eventually triumphed. From that moment on, Naruto earned Gaara's respect.

This will be what the extra scenario, titled "Bonds of the Sandy Shore" in this "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC, will be all about.

Screenshots on the Facebook page of the game (check them here then scroll right) hint that Naruto and Gaara's first encounter will indeed be retold in this scenario, which offers players three hours of gameplay.

In addition to this scenario pack, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC 2 will also give players access to the Wandering Shinobi Sasuke costume in addition to the three new combination secret techniques.

The first combination brings together Perfect Susanoo Sasuke and Itachi. The second one involves Lee and Guy and the last one is called Team Guy comprised of Lee, Neji and Tenten.

As usual, "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" players are getting a set of new ninja treasure set packed with items that can be swapped for in-game goodies.

There will be new ninja info cards, matching voices and 10 costumes from previous "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm" titles on top of all those pickings.

The Gaara-centered "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" DLC 2 is expected to be priced at $9.99. No release date is set yet.
