Moto E next-generation specs leaked

Motorola Moto E

Other mobile manufacturers come up with all-new devices every once in a while, but Motorola uses a different strategy and releases improved versions of their current product lines that are already doing well in the market. Earlier, the company released the second generation of their Moto X and Moto G models. This time, Motorola is revamping its Moto E smartphone.

Based on a report that was allegedly sourced from a Greek website, the new version of Moto E will have better hardware compared to the one that was released earlier this year. According to the website, the alleged improved version of Moto E will come with a 4.5-inch touchscreen that features 960 x 540 pixel display resolution, just like its predecessor. It will also feature a 5-megapixel primary shooter, but it will not feature an LED flash.

Although the report did not offer any details regarding the internal features of the new smartphone, several speculations mention that the soon-to-be released Moto E will be equipped with a 1.19 GHz Snapdragon 400 or Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, and it will reportedly have a 1 GB RAM.

Also, there are reports saying that the new Moto E will look almost exactly like the first edition, but there will be a "ring" that decorates the exterior of the new device. This ring can allegedly be removed, and it can be swapped with different colors to give the users a chance to match the handset with their own personality.

In addition, the future Moto E release will run using the updated Android 5.0 Lollipop update, but it will sell at a more affordable price compared to the flagship phones of the mobile manufacturer. However, there is no word yet whether the improved Moto E will have the same price range as its predecessor.

Motorola is still mum about the confirmation of this report, but speculations claim that the company will announce it officially soon.
