After revealing the amazing "Monster Hunter X" gameplay trailer at the Nintendo Direct presentation in Japan last May, Capcom has kept all the other details about the game to themselves, including its release date outside the country. However, there are bit of information that fans can peruse for the meantime.

The fifth generation of the best-selling fantasy action role-playing game will reportedly come out with new moves and actions that will be called the "Hunting Arts" and "Hunting Styles." According to reports, the new Hunting Arts can bring massive destruction to any opponent, buff up players, as well as heal others. Hunting Styles, on the other hand, offers four new actions like turning sticky situations to work to a gamer's advantage and offering various acts that can take the Hunters to safety.

"Monster Hunter X" will also come with four major monsters that players will have to face in the game. One is a Brute Wyvern-like monster with a sharp shell covering its body and a long tail that has the capacity to wreck everything in sight. There is also a Flying Wyvern monster with elaborately decorated wings, sharp scales, and a pronounced crest. The third and largest monster is a Fanged Beast which can also wreck anything it pleases, while the flexible Leviathan monster is the fourth and final opponent that Hunters would face in the game.

Capcom also created a new Monster Hunter village called the Verna Village, which has a sprawling forest area with gigantic plants, grassy fields, and mysterious caves, among others.

At the moment, Capcom is concentrating on the release of the free DLC for "Monster Hunter 4" this month. It comes with 14 new quests, five brand-new weapons, three complete armor sets, a Palico weapon and armor set with a bonus Palico Brown Pal, seven guild card titles, as well as three guild card backgrounds.

"Monster Hunter X" is expected to come out for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan by the third or fourth quarter this year, while the international release date is still unrevealed.
