'Monster Hunter: World' news: Option to remodel character may soon be out

"Monster Hunter: World" was just recently released last week, and needless to say, gamers from all over the world have purchased the game. As players will need to make their own characters, some gamers who are particular about their character designs might want to make some changes. Fortunately for them, this option might actually be implemented.

In the online role-playing game community, players would usually be stuck with the kind of hair, eye color, skin tone, and etc which they have chosen when they first made the character. If they have decided that maybe their character's role does not fit the looks, they would need to re-do their character model.

The game's producer Ryozo Tsujimoto understands this frustration that many players have. "You can't redo it, but when making a character you can check their expressions, so you might want to do that first while making a character," said Tsujimoto during the Taipei Game Show recently, as per Game Watch Impress via Siliconera.

He continued, "However, if there's enough demand for it then I'll put it under consideration." Before the frustrations, "Monster Hunter: World" undoubtedly has one of the best character creation system given the many details players can edit. But, this comes as a double-edged sword as players find out that it is not what they thought it would be. Hence Tsujimoto mentioning about the "do-over" option.

As for the rest of the game, a lot of players are pretty much satisfied, for now. There is a lot to do in the game, and that is without all the extra patches and downloadable content (DLC) that Capcom will be releasing. This "do-over" option may still be implemented, but players should not expect it to come out anytime soon.

Capcom is still currently busy with the gameplay aspects itself, especially with making the game run smoother on the consoles. Hopefully, this does not delay the release of the PC version, which should be coming out in a few months.
