Sad new for "Mob Wives" fans as series regular Angela "Big Ang" Raiola's cancer treatment is not working out for her.

According to her family and friends, the reality show star is fighting stage 4 brain and lung cancer but her body is not responding to any treatments that could help stop the cancer from spreading.

Big Ang's sister Janine Detore created a GoFundMe page to ask the show's fans to help raise enough money for her alternative medical expenses.

According to Detore, Big Ang's chemotherapy began on Jan. 5, but the doctor informed the family that the treatment was not working. She is also reportedly suffering from labored breathing and intense pain.

"So I suggested cannabis oil as an alternative. This is why I am putting up this go fund me to try to help my sister to get this oil to help her at least be pain free. Angela cannot function to work anymore. I'm not sure that it will work but I'm praying," Big Ang's sister said.

Big Ang, niece of the infamous mobster Salvatore "Sally Dogs" Lombardi, is known as the arbitrator of peace on their popular VH1 reality show. She was also featured in her own spin-off series titled "Big Ang" and "Miami Monkey."

The reality show star is also known for having several criminal records of her own, but she is one of the most loved cast members of the show because of her charity work and love for her fans. She has also been said to be one of the most affectionate ones in the cast.

Meanwhile, Master Herald reported that "Mob Wives" season 6 will be the last for the series. Currently, the season revolves around the feud between Karen Gravano and Drita D'Avanzo, as well as Karen's bad blood with another cast mate Victoria Gotti.

The next episode of "Mob Wives" season 6 will air Wednesday, Feb. 3.
