"MLB The Show 16" has officially been released, ready to treat baseball fans to the most realistic baseball experience a video game could offer.

Chicago Cubs infielder Anthony Rizzo, who plays and loves the game, is blown away by how close to real life the video game is. The MLB superstar can confirm that "MLB The Show 16" is a remarkable must-try.

"Everything is realistic in terms of the bat, the cleats, and the batting gloves I use," Rizzo told Fortune. He added that he's earned a "pretty good" rating himself in "MLB The Show 16."

He also believes that "MLB The Show 16" does more than just make fans feel like they are playing the real thing. "MLB The Show 16" pushes players to try on the real thing.

"A lot of young kids, myself included, wanted to be a baseball player. So having a game like that where you can go through the minor leagues and get to the big leagues and work your way up in the system, it's as real as you can get," Rizzo said.

The baseball superstar was referring to the Road to the Show mode of "MLB The Show 16," which allows players to progress in the game from being an aspiring baseball player to an MLB superstar.

Rizzo adds that the Wrigley Field in "MLB The Show 16" makes players feel like they are there. Rizzo advises "MLB The Show 16" gamers to "know the wind" and hit wherever it's blowing for them to conquer the field.

"MLB The Show 16" is also enjoying praises from other gamers and critics alike. The fan-favorite feature is Showtime, which slows down everything in order for a player to focus on the ball hurtling at him like a bullet. Rizzo also gives his thumbs-up for this feature.

"MLB The Show 16" was released March 29.
