Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date, specs and features rumors for next-gen hybrid

The Surface Pro line from Microsoft is gaining popularity nowadays as the Redmond-based tech giant's sleek and improved device merges the functionality and mobility of a laptop and a tablet. In 2014, the tech giant unveiled the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 that attracts buyers with its chic design and high-end specs in one complete package. But consumers are still looking forward to what the company can offer in the next-generation of the Surface Pro product line.

Based on speculations, the upcoming Surface Pro 4 will come with upgraded specs compared to its predecessor. One of the most talked about improvement is the bigger RAM space, which is reportedly set at 16 GB. This could mean that the performance speed for the new Surface Pro device will be a lot faster compared to the Surface Pro 3.

The new Surface Pro 4 is also rumored to feature better pixel resolution compared to the current model. According to reports, the new device will come with a 2160 x 1440 pixel resolution. It will also come in two sizes, the bigger 14-inch screen as well as the alleged Surface Pro 4 mini, which will come with an 8-inch display.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is also expected to attract avid gamers with its high-end internal specs. According to reports, the Xbox streaming feature of Windows 10 will be integrated in the device. It means that it can maximize its gaming potential.

Although the upcoming device in the Microsoft Surface Pro product line promises lots of improved features, there are speculations claiming that the price range for the Surface Pro 4 will be decreased compared to its earlier version to further attract consumers.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will reportedly come out as early as mid-2015 or as late as the first months of 2016. However, none of these reports have been confirmed by Microsoft at the moment.
