The first Lumia phone that will carry Microsoft's name will be unveiled this week, but the world already got a glimpse of the smartphone after several leaked photos were posted by WMPowerUser before the launch date.

According to reports, the Lumia 535 will come with a 5-inch QHD screen. It will also have a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.  The phone is also allegedly dual-SIM enabled, and features a 5-megapixels primary camera with a VGA front-facing camera.

The 145.7-gram device measures 140.2 × 72.45 × 9.32 millimeters, and is powered by a 1900 mAh battery.  It also supports 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 850 MHz, and 1900 MHz frequencies.

Before Microsoft bought the line in April 25 from Nokia for $7.2 billion, the Lumia smartphone series is considered as the most popular Windows Phone that was ever released.

The Espoo, Finland-based Microsoft Mobile company decided to continue using the Nokia brand on Lumia products until October this year as part of their transition period. After that, the company will completely remove the Nokia name when promoting the new products to incorporate the Microsoft brand.

Microsoft Mobile's senior vice president for marketing Tuula Rytila stated, "We are looking forward to unveiling a Microsoft Lumia device soon."

The Lumia 535 will be the very first device that will be given the Microsoft brand once it is officially presented to the public during the launching event on Nov. 11.

"Microsoft is delivering the power of everyday mobile technology to everyone," the event's tag line says.

Though a lot of gadget watchers are expecting Microsoft to unveil a new flagship phone for the said event, it seems like the company will be launching a budget version of the smartphone instead, based on the leaked specs.

The pricing, network carrier deals, and other details about the new Microsoft Lumia phone are still unrevealed as of the moment.
