Microsoft has revealed its schedule for the annual E3 press conference this year.

According to an email from a Microsoft PR representative, the company will make their E3 2016 appearance on June 13.

"We're excited to return to E3 this year where we'll showcase more games and experiences coming later in 2016 and beyond, starting with our briefing at 9:30 a.m. PDT on Monday, June 13," Microsoft stated.

Other details regarding the upcoming Microsoft E3 2016 press conference remain under wraps, but rumors claim that a new Xbox One could be announced this year.

According to information posted by NeoGAF user ekim, Microsoft is currently testing a new wireless chip intended for the Xbox One to get an FCC approval.

"[I]f we check the Exhibits for those two models we can see that model 1683 includes a document named 'User Manual 1525' which is not yet available and thus under NDA but the name gives away that this is basically a new Xbox One which will use the safety information manual from the OG Xbox One," ekim posted.

Xbox head Phil Spencer also teased during a previous interview that they will reveal something big for this year's E3 press conference, as reported by GameRant.

"In the near term, our focus is on the Xbox One console. We're going to have a nice E3...we're just taking a focus now on console to desktop and then moving out from there," Spencer said.

Other possible topics that will be mentioned at the upcoming Microsoft E3 2016 nclude the release dates of "Crackdown 3," "Halo Wars 2," and "ReCore."

E3 2016 will commence on June 14 and conclude on June 16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Bethesda and EA also announced their own E3 2016 schedules, which are both on June 12. Other details about the upcoming E3 2016 event are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
