With the "Mass Effect Andromeda" production in progress, several individuals working on the project are left, including former Bioware General Manager Greg Zeschuk who saw the game in its early stages.

Zeschuk is aware of the fans' gripe that "Mass Effect Andromeda" will look nothing like the action role-playing third-person shooter they know and love now that he is no longer on the team. In an interview with Gamespot, he appeased and assured fans that there's nothing to worry about.

"I think people can be pretty confident it's in really good hands," Zeschuk said. "A lot of the folks working on it are core, Mass Effect team people," he continued, guaranteeing that "Mass Effect Andromeda" will be "pretty incredible."

Zeschuk is as excited as fans in seeing the latest "Mass Effect" title in the flesh. "I'm really pumped about it. I can't wait to play it as a consumer," the Bioware co-founder said.

Although "Mass Effect Andromeda" was announced at last year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, details about the upcoming shooter are still hard to come by except for teasing tweets from developers.

Just recently, Bioware said on the official Twitter account of "Mass Effect" franchise that "Mass Effect Andromeda" is definitely the "most ambitious" title in the franchise in terms of scope.

Unfortunately, fans won't get their hands on the game until early next year. Originally slated for a holiday release, "Mass Effect Andromeda" will now hit the stores around January to March 2017.

The new "Mass Effect" is expected to boast new breeds of aliens, a more powerful Mako and a new galaxy waiting to be explored – presented in stunning graphics and visuals. Commander Sheppard will no longer be at the helm but an inexperienced explorer only known as the Pathfinder.

Bioware VP and studio general manager Aaryn Flynn has said that "Mass Effect Andromeda" will feel both different and classic at the same time, with the "best parts of any Mass Effect game" tweaked to "expand the definition of what you should expect from a Mass Effect game."
