'Mass Effect: Andromeda' news, release date: Missions in playable state as game comes to develop

A look at the protagonist of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Bioware

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" developer Bioware has not been the biggest fan in revealing details about their upcoming title, but folks over there tease what to expect in the game every now and then.

A frequent subject of the morsels of teases about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" coming from Bioware involves the missions to expect in the game.

Bioware writer Joanna Berry teased on her Twitter account that a lot of the team's hard work on "Mass Effect Andromeda" is "really coming together."

She also teased that missions on the game are already in playable state, having already played one with her Bioware co-workers. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" producer Michael Gamble also tweeted about the game's mission.

He praised Bioware level designer Jos Hendriks on his good work on one of the game's missions. Hendriks, on the other hand, admired Gamble for his skills in playing the mission. The developer stated on his Twitter that Gamble "displayed unreal skill, sometimes I could swear he was playing with his eyes closed," referring to him as a "superhuman."

Unfortunately, there's no information specific than that available at the moment. However, this fall, Bioware will dump a truckload of details about "Mass Effect: Andromeda," as the company promised.

Bioware has been coy about the game ever since it was announced. This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 proved that precious details about the game won't come easy.

What was only revealed in the convention is that the protagonist will be named Ryder, and has a male and female version. The character's look was also revealed.

Fans expect a "Mass Effect: Andromeda" trailer to be released this fall along with details on the release date and of course, the gameplay. Apart from the title, however, Bioware is also working on a secret IP.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is slated for release next year.
