Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet) has been busy building a new group of Secret Warriors all season long, but they will finally have a taste of action in the next episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3.
Both Daisy and Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) know that they need help in rescuing their friends after the attack of Giyera (Mark Dacascos) in the previous episode. This is why they will ask the new team of Inhumans that Daisy formed to act as their back up.
According to the synopsis for the episode, titled "The Team" and will air on Tuesday, "Agent Daisy Johnson must call upon the Secret Warriors for an inaugural mission that will leave no member unscathed, and S.H.I.E.L.D. learns more about Hive's powers, forcing them to question everyone they trust."
But while the trailer for the episode shows that the first mission of the Secret Warriors will be a huge success, the team could still be a threat to the members of S.H.I.E.L.D.
"One of these combatants is not what they seem," the voiceover from the trailer says. Does it mean that one of the members of the Secret Warriors will betray Daisy and the rest of the team?
Meanwhile, executive produce Jed Whedon told Entertainment Weekly that Hive will also be interested to get the newly formed team on their side. "Both teams like Inhumans on their side, so I think that he would jump at any opportunity he has to increase his ranks. There is definitely going to be a showdown right off the bat," he said.
Maurissa Tancharoen also said in the same interview that Daisy will still keep the fact to herself that one of them will die soon. "That's a burden she wants to keep to herself for now," the executive producer explained. "With all the events that happened in episode 315, I think she feels a great responsibility to keep that secret for now just so that she doesn't rattle the rest of the team. If anything, she's going to try her damnedest to change it."
"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 episode 17 airs on Tuesday, April 19, on ABC.
