'Married at First Sight' season 2 spoilers: New couples last like Doug and Jamie?

Married at First Sight Season 1's Doug and Jamie renewed their vows a year after they first met and got married. Will the new couples follow suit? Married at First Sight/Facebook

The second episode of "Married at First Sight" season 2 showed the participants finally meeting each other and officially starting their lives as married couples. Now, the controversial marriage experiment reality show is starting to heat up, with questions waiting to be answered. Which of the newlyweds will ultimately have a successful married life despite meeting each other for the first time at the altar? And who will go against the scientifically formulated match and end their marriage by the end of the season?

One of the couples who got married last week is Sean Varricchio and Davina Kullar. The pair instantly showed a strong chemistry as soon as they got married. However, their relationship lacks support from their families, especially Davina's.

Then there is Ryan Ranellone and Jaclyn Methuen. The two seemed to a have a good time when they were introduced, and the groom seemed to have an immediate liking for Jaclyn. However, the bride was disappointed because she did not feel an instant attraction toward Ryan, contrary to what she expected.

The third couple is composed of Ryan De Nino and Jessica Castro. They are the only couple with less conflict from the start of the show, but their religious upbringing could probably affect their relationship along the way. Could Jessica's Catholic faith and Ryan's Jewish beliefs get in the way of their marriage?

It would be hard to determine which among the three sets of couples will last until after the finale of "Married at First Sight" season 2. A lot can happen until then, just like what happened between season 1's Doug Hehner and Jamie Otis.

At first, Jamie believed that marrying Doug was the worst decision that she had ever made. But she changed her mind later on. In fact, the couple renewed their vows in the same spot in St. Thomas where they first kissed a year ago.

"Married at First Sight" season 2 airs Tuesdays on A&E and FYI.
