'Married at First Sight' season 2 finale spoilers and results: Will job opportunity cause big problems for a couple?

 A&E

The penultimate episode of "Married at First Sight" season 2 was aired this week, and it let viewers have a glimpse of how the season will end for the three couples who joined the month-long marriage experiment.

In the episode titled "Last Chance For Romance," the couples were given the opportunity to assess their relationships with spiritualist Greg Epstein before they finally decide next week if they want to stay married or not. This week, Greg asked the couples to give each other a physical gift to express their feelings for each other, and plan for a new bonding experience to spend time together.

In the case of Ryan De Nino and Jessica Castro, the two seem to be having a great time together and currently on the right track in their relationship. In their discussion with Greg, Jessica mentioned that she learned how to communicate better during their first month of marriage, while Ryan said that he now knows how to be more attentive to the way she expresses her mind.

For their homework, Ryan purchased a bottle of Jessica's favorite perfume, while Jess gave him an engraved money clip with their wedding date on it, as well as the phrase "Best day ever." Both were touched with each other's gestures.

Meanwhile, they planned to have another romantic dinner since the first one ended in a disastrous fight. This time, things went smoothly, and Ryan confessed that he feels that he is developing real feelings for her. But while Jessica claimed that she is happy with her marriage, she said that she still needs to trust him more.

Things are also looking great for Ryan Ranellone and Jaclyn Methuen. When the couple spent time with Greg, Jaclyn mentioned that she finally learned how to be less controlling in their relationship, and Ryan shared that he finally learned how to communicate better and take the lead in their relationship whenever he sees fit.

For their gifts, Ryan also gave her a bottle of her signature scent, while Jaclyn decided to make Ryan laugh by giving him a pair of banana-printed socks and a bottle opener. He liked what he got, and Jaclyn explained that the socks were purchased because he loves fun socks and he will not eat bananas whenever she is around because she does not find it attractive.

For their bonding experience, the two decided to do a boudoir photo shoot and take sexy pictures together wearing lingerie and underwear. Although they felt awkward at first, they immediately managed to laugh at themselves as the photo shoot went on.

Ryan later on admitted that he thinks that he and Jaclyn are actually in love. Could this be enough to make them decide to keep their marriage?

But if the two couples have promising relationships, Sean Varricchio and Davina Kullar appear to be having a hard time with theirs.

While Davina and Sean both told Greg that they understand why they are paired with each other, she still hopes that Sean will somehow change for the better, but she is not sure if there is still time left.

Their physical gifts showed how strong their beliefs are. Sean gave her a Bible and told her to keep all the positive messages in mind, and Davina gave him a rosary since she remembered that he lost the one that his grandfather gave him before.

For their special bonding experience, the two decided to go bowling and have dinner at an Indian restaurant. While the day started well, it did not end according to plan after Sean announced that he got a promotion opportunity for a higher paying job, but it will require him to move to New Jersey. Davina was really upset, and Sean admitted that they have reached their marriage's rock bottom at that point. Could that mean that the two will finally give up on each other?

Find out who will end up staying married and who will be filing for divorce in the finale of "Married at First Sight" season 2, airing June 9 on A&E.
