'The Man in the High Castle' season 2 release date, spoilers: Titular character will be known at the 'very beginning'

"The Man in the High Castle" 2 is dropping a massive revelation when it premieres on Amazon. The beginning of the season will be big as the titular character will finally be unmasked.

This surprising reveal was made during an interview of some of the cast and crew behind the series with Kevin Smith for IMDB at the San Diego Comic Con.

Executive producer Isa Dick Hackett, who is also the daughter of the late Philip K. Dick who is the genius behind the novel where the show was inspired, made the announcement.

"Well I can say that we will meet the man in the high castle this season. A big reveal," Hackett said, with cast member Luke Kleintank adding that it will happen at the "very beginning."

They did not offer further details about the identity of the character, but it is looking like "The Man in the High Castle" season 2 won't make fans wait long before they drop the bombshell.

Meanwhile, Kleintank also teased what to expect his character Joe Blake, whose true loyalties remain a mystery, in "The Man in the High Castle" season 2.

"There are so many unanswered questions for Joe in season 1 and in season 2, we go deeper into that and you start to find out who he is and why he is doing what he's doing," the actor explained.

In an interview with That's Normal during SDCC, Kleintank revealed that Joe will be "emotional" in "The Man in the High Castle" season 2 and that he will be experiencing fear, anger and pain.

The star said that the character will explore his childhood, which Kleintank described as "a part of [Joe's] life he never knew about."

"The Man in the High Castle" season 2 premieres sometime next year. A trailer has been released on Comic Con and can be viewed below.
