MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs, rumors: Apple bringing out new MacBook Pro next week?

An invitation for the Apple Keynote Event on Oct. 27 Apple official website

After weeks of speculations, sources reportedly confirmed that Apple Inc. will release the MacBook Pro 2016 next week.

According to Recode, several sources claim that the new MacBook product line will be unveiled during the keynote event, which will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27, at the Apple Campus located in Cupertino, California.

The report claimed that Apple's move is somehow expected since the tech giant already unveiled their newest MacOS Sierra in September without revealing the list of new computers that will use the new operating system software.

On the other hand, a report from The Verge claimed that the tagline "hello again" used on the invites sent for the upcoming event is actually a reference to the Mac since the product was originally unveiled to the public in 1984 with the word "hello."

If speculations about the launch of the MacBook Pro 2016 next week turn out to be true, then consumers will finally learn the new updates for the rumored device.

Several rumors claim that the MacBook Pro 2016 will have brand new 13-inch and 15-inch variants. They are also speculated to come out with a Retina display with a thinner body made from aluminum.

Other reports mentioned that the upcoming MacBook 2016 product line will have the USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 port support, which means that the USB-A connector will no longer appear.

Forbes also mentioned that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will come out with a programmable touch-respondent OLED display strip placed above the keyboard. This feature is reportedly used to display a number of function keys. This is also expected to allow fingerprint scanning, just like the Touch ID sensor that included in the other Apple products like the iPhones and the iPads.

Apple Inc. could either confirm or deny these claims during the Oct. 27 event that will start at 10 a.m. PDT.
