MacBook Pro 2016 is still speculated to be released this Fall despite Apple's continuous silence regarding the tech firm's rumored new laptop line.

The next-generation MacBook Pro was expected to be announced during the tech firm's keynote event back on Sept. 7, but Apple centered their event on the unveiling of the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and Apple Watch 2. However, reports claim that the highly anticipated release of the new laptop will happen as early as October.

Apple has yet to comment on the rumored release date of the MacBook Pro 2016, but other speculations about the device continue to emerge. One of the latest reports from Bloomberg claimed that the new laptop will have a slightly slimmer design compared to the previous model, with shallower curves around the edges of its casing. Its pressure-sensitive trackpad will also be a little wider according to the report.

The MacBook Pro 2016 is also expected to have the same Touch ID fingerprint technology that is currently seen in iPhone devices. Based on the report, a source claimed that the scanner will be placed beside the new device's new function key display. It will reportedly allow users to have an easier log-in access and a more convenient way to purchase items through Apple Pay.

Other rumors claimed that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be equipped with Intel's upcoming Kaby Lake processor. This means that the new device will have more powerful features upon release.

Some of the other MacBook Pro 2016 rumor reports also mentioned that the new device will have an OLED display touch bar that will be seen on the top of the keyboard, 5K display screen with 5120 x 2880 pixel resolution, and both the USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 port. It may also come out with an option of 8 GB or 16 GB RAM capacity with an SSD that is expandable up to 1 TB.

More news about the MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to come out before the rumored October release date arrives.
