Finally, the release date  for Apple's Mac Mini 2014 has been confirmed.

Reports were leaked about the December 2015 release date of the next generation Mac Mini. According to claims, Apple confirmed that the device would be released at that time.

The public became interested in the Apple Mac Mini device after the Belgian website ComputerStore allegedly leaked several details about a device pointing to the Apple Mac Mini.

According to the leaked reports, the Haswell Mac Minis will be released with the Intel I5 or the I7 processor. The report also stated that the planned processor would not be a good selling point for the gadget in the future. Still, avid Apple fans are  excited for the upcoming product.

MacRumors report that the release of the Mac Mini 2014 could replace the Ivy Bridge-integrated chips with the Iris-integrated Haswell processors.

The latest Apple device may be sold in the public with OS X Yosemite because Apple is known to release their latest devices with the newest available operating sytem.

Mac Rumors also said that  "The Mac Mini will probably see a minimum hard drive increase to 1TB, and will continue to offer traditional hard drives and Apple's Fusion Drive, combining a standard 1TB hard drive with flash storage for shorter boot times and quicker file access. Apple's recently introduced iMacs can be configured with faster PCI Express-based flash storage options (including the Fusion Drive), and it is likely the same upgrades will be offered for the Mac mini."

In addition, the latest Mac Mini includes a Thunderbolt port, multiple USB 3.0 ports, a Firewire port, an HDMI port, as well a SDXC card slot.

Mac mini will also include a  hard drive increase that could reach up to 1TB, and it will carry on providing conventional hard drives as well as Fusion Drive from Apple.
