Netflix has yet to issue an order about the renewal of "Longmire" for season 6, contrary to the rumors that are going around online.

Longmire Posse, the official fan site of the Western-inspired crime drama series, debunked the rumors about the season 6 renewal of "Longmire" after reports claimed that the scripts for the show's sixth season had been leaked.

According to the fan site, Netflix is still mum about giving the go signal for the new season, and there is no truth to the reports of the leaked scripts.

However, the fan site is planning to organize a "Stampede" hour on Friday, Oct. 7, where fans are encouraged to use the hashtag #RenewLongmireNetflix on Facebook and Twitter to let the entertainment streaming service provider know that there is a strong clamor for the show's continuation.

If "Longmire" will return for a sixth season, fans will finally find out the fate of Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and Dr. Donna Monaghan (Ally Walker) after they had been abducted at the end of season 5.

Fans are also looking forward to seeing how romance will blossom between the sheriff and his deputy, Vic Moretti (Katee Sackhoff), just like what happened in the novels under the "Walt Longmire Mysteries" written by Craig Johnson. Now that it was revealed that Vic is pregnant, viewers would like to find out how this development will affect the relationship between the two law enforcers of Absaroka County.

Also, the sixth season of "Longmire" could shed some light on the fate of Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamon Phillips), who was forced to by Mathias (Zahn McClarnon) to do his dirty work back in season 5. It would also be interesting to see how the relationship between Walt and his daughter, Cady (Cassidy Freeman), evolves in another season if Netflix will give the green light for "Longmire" season 6.
