After the filming for the fifth season of "Longmire" concluded early this month, fans of the show are now gearing up to see the stars gathered in Buffalo, Wyoming for the annual Longmire Days event while waiting for the show's possible premiere in September. Will this also be the venue where the cast and crew will announce the show's premiere date?

The fifth Annual Longmire Days will begin with a parade on Friday, July 8. Novelist Craig Johnson, the writer of the best-selling novels with the same title where the series is based on, is expected to conduct a small talk at the Occidental on the opening day. The actors, on the other hand, will also appear at the Occidental for a late-night jam to cap the first day of the event.

Other activities lined up for the annual event organized by "Longmire" fans include an autograph signing session on Saturday, July 9, at the Cowboy Carousel Center, as well as episode screenings at the Buffalo Theater on the same day.

To conclude the event on Sunday, July 10, Johnson and lead star Rob Taylor will drop by to sign books at the Johnson County Library.

Other confirmed artists who will attend the yearly event are expected to be announced before the start of the festivities.

"Longmire" fans proved to be a very strong force. After A&E decided to cancel the show at the end of season 3, the fans took their protests on Twitter and launched an online petition to persuade Warner Horizon Television to shop the show to other networks to extend the its life. Netflix heeded the call and ordered to air season 4 in 2015 and season 5 this year.

While the producers are still mum about the plot of the show and its possible release date, speculations claim that Walt Longmire (Taylor) will have a very colorful love life when the series returns in September.
