On Dec. 5, story-centric adventure game "Life is Strange: Before the Storm" released episode three's teaser trailer. Titled "Hell is Empty," the last episode of the three-part game is slated to be released on Dec. 20. While the teaser trailer revealed nothing more than flashes of scenes to come, it hinted Chloe and Rachel's eventual confrontation with the antagonist, Damon Merrick.

The trailer can be found on Deck Nine Games, the developers' Facebook page. Earlier in the second chapter of "Life is Strange: Before the Storm" players had a chance to either anger Damon or impress him. Hiding the money and lying about its whereabouts led to the former while handing him the money led to the latter.

Whatever the outcome, the events of season two lead to Damon keeping an eye on Chloe's actions. Episode two ended with a cliff-hanger. Moreover, Rachel's father was caught cheating on her mother, and it was revealed that Rachel was adopted. A big fight broke out between the Amber family and Chloe and the game ended there. The episodes brought a lot of surprises for the viewers, and it was made evident when fans rendered their voices through the internet forums such as Reddit and Tumblr. The forums focused on the possible finale ending of the series.

One of the popular theories that has been floating around the internet, is the theory regarding Rachel. Fans speculate that Rachel might have fire or weather powers and that her mother left to protect her. It is merely a guess at this point in time, but the game's predecessor "Life is Strange" has confirmed that weird things have been happening in Arcadia Bay and that strange powers do exist.

Theories aside, it has been confirmed that Ashley Burch and Hannah Telle would be returning to voice Chloe and Max in the bonus episode of "Life is Strange: Before the Storm."
