'Legends of Tomorrow' season 2 spoilers: Sara and Black Siren meet?; Canaries also expected to cross paths

Laurel and Sara as Canary in "Arrow" The CW

Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) is yet to move on from the death of her sister Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, the White Canary will continue to mourn the loss.

"I know Sara is not over it," the actress said in an interview with TV Overmind. "I don't think she's accepted it and moved on. It's something that she gonna be still dealing with in the second season," she went on to say.

Interestingly, it has been announced that Cassidy will be brought back to the Arrowverse after her apparent death in the previous season of "Arrow," which was me with outrage.

She will be part of the "Arrow" season 5 premiere and she was made a series regular on the parent show as well as in "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow."

It was not revealed in what form or way Laurel will be appearing on the shows, although being a series regular across all three might not work if she was only meant to be in flashbacks.

Should Laurel be brought back to life, it will be interesting to see how Sara will deal with it in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.

However, if Laurel comes in another form, especially with multiverses and time travel involved, the possibilities are endless as to how Laurel's return can be approached.

Fans will remember that after Laurel's death, Cassidy did an episode on "The Flash" season 2 as Black Siren, Laurel's evil doppelganger from Earth-2.

Lotz imagined a possibility of Sara going toe to toe with Black Siren in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, or encountering her sister (or someone that looks like her) in a timeline where she is alive.

This should definitely mess things up for the assassin in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2. With Cassidy back, there are a lot of things Laurel's comeback will go, but it will be remiss for the Lance sisters not to cross paths again.

"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 premieres Thursday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
