Episode 3 of "Legends of Tomorrow" titled "Blood Ties" will have the motley crew attempt a new game plan in taking down Vandal Savage.

Instead of trying to slay the immortal, Rip suggests they go after something that will actually mar his future plans. The Time Master believes that they should focus on eliminating the financial resources of the atrocious foe this time.

Along with Sara, Rip attempts to break into Savage's bank by crashing some sort of gathering. The promo images show them looking dapper and classy. However, it does not go the way they planned since the enemy's minions detected them.

Meanwhile, Snart and Rory continue to make the most out of the mission as possible. In "Legends of Tomorrow" episode 3, the duo takes a stab at tricking Jax into bringing the ship to Central City, where a precious emerald worth millions sits.

In the fast-paced promo for the installment, it looks like Jax was, in fact, tricked by the cunning pair. Snart can be seen taking a close look at their valuable steal before getting his hands on it. But if the previous episodes are any indication, Snart a.k.a. Captain Cold may once again be unsuccessful.

There are also hints that Snart will be seeing a bit of his past in his visit to the city in the upcoming episode.

"Legends of Tomorrow" episode 3 will also see Martin Stein helping out Ray in what the show calls a "dangerous mission."

There's no mention of Kendra in the upcoming episode's synopsis, which means that she may still be recovering from the injuries she sustained after her and Carter's encounter with Savage, which ended with her partner Destiny's death.

Hawkman's shocking demise in the previous episode seems to have finally glued the heroes and villains together as a real team, giving them another good reason to stop Savage for good. But obviously, it seems that some of them will always be sidetracked.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that in episode 6 of "Legends of Tomorrow," Stephen Amell will appear as the future Oliver Queen. For the ultimate comic book treat, the actor will sport the character's signature goatee and missing left arm.

"Legends of Tomorrow" episode 3 airs Feb. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
