'Left 4 Dead 3' release date: When will new game come out?

It has been a while since the game developers of the "Left 4 Dead" franchise have given out news about the game, which is why fans are starting to become impatient and are constantly demanding to hear new information about the survival horror first-person shooting game.

But Valve Corporation has been very silent about the developments of "Left 4 Dead 3," and there is hardly any news about it at all. Good thing there are several speculations revealed about the game in different websites.

One of the more popular rumors claimed that former Valve employee Minh Le had allegedly seen the game being developed in the studios. The co-creator of Counter Strike said the game looks really good.

According to Le, "So I was really excited when I saw that. I was like 'Wow, this looks great.' I really enjoyed Left 4 Dead. It was just one of those games that really changed the industry because I think at the time there weren't many good co-op games, so it was like, 'Yeah, this is a great co-op game.'"

Then another Valve employee leaked several alleged "Left 4 Dead 3" files in YouTube. This time, illustrator Andrea Wicklund unintentionally uploaded several files about the upcoming game while she was rummaging through her personal computer.

Yet all those rumors have not been confirmed by Valve, or anyone who is involved with the game's actual development.

Some reports blame a new game called "Evolve" for the delay in "Left 4 Dead 3." They say that Turtle Rock Studios decided to focus on the new game, which is why the "Left 4 Dead" sequel was placed in the back seat.

If rumors are true, then it means that it will still take a long while before fans will be able to actually play the highly anticipated cooperative first-person game.

The earlier installments of the "Left 4 Dead" franchise were released in Xbox 360, OS X, and Windows versions.
