'League of Legends' patch 8.2 notes: No more Sightstone, Ruby upgrade, Face of the Mountain

Just recently starting its eighth season, "League of Legends" is already making big changes with its official 8.2 patch. When patches come, they would always have balance changes and modifications to either skills or items. However, this time, it looks like developer Riot has decided to remove some of the items.

After browsing through the usual changes to whatever was "overpowered" in the previous patch, one would notice one of the biggest changes. Many of the items that are usually bought by support players and heroes have been removed. For example, Sightstone, Ruby Sightstone, Talisman of Ascension, Face of the Mountain, and Frost Queen's Claim have all been removed.

On the other hand, some of the other support items have been changed. Relic Shield's description adds "50% healing if the owner is ranged." Along with this, the quest gold required is decreased to 500 from 750. The same goes for Ancient Coin and Spellthief's Edge.

Although many previously offered items have been removed, Riot seems to have replaced them with several new items. These new items are actually somewhat new versions of the "Eye" items. The Remnant of the Ascended, Remnant of the Watchers, and Remnant of the Aspect are the newer versions of Eye of the Oasis, Eye of the Watchers, and Eye of the Equinox, respectively.

As for the skill changes, for the most part, the new changes were mainly with the nerfs. On the other hand, the only buffs were for Sona's Q, which now requires less mana, and Nunu's Q and W. His Q now adds bonus Ability Power damage on basic attacks up to five attacks while his W increases AP for 40% for both Nunu and the ally.

A lot of other changes and new skins were introduced as well. As for now, these changes are still on the PBE server, so players may not find the official patch notes. Since they are still in PBE, more changes can be made.
