Country band Lady Antebellum is grateful this week after no one was injured in a fire on their tour bus on Thursday.

Everyone inside escaped safely, although the tour bus was completely destroyed. All personal items were also lost, save for Hillary Scott's Bible.

"Today, when our bus caught on fire we had quite a few personal belongings in the back (where I was asleep before evacuating the bus) one of them being my Bible," the lead singer wrote on Instagram.

"I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames, except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing.

"Yall, God's Word will always stand," she continued. "He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE. My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours."

The fire occurred when one of the bus tires caught fire on Interstate 30 in Garland, Texas. Scott, her husband, Chris Tyrrell, and her tour manager were headed to Dallas-Fort Worth from Nashville for the American Country Music Awards at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

The award show is on Sunday, and Lady Antebellum is expected to perform. The group consists of Scott, Charles Kelley, and Dave Haywood.

Thankfully, the passengers, along with the bus driver, escaped the fire unharmed. Garland Fire Department Captain Billy Craven commended the driver for getting everyone off the bus immediately and calling 911.

"Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe," Scott wrote. "Everyone is safe and sound."

Several lanes of I-30W were closed while authorities cleared the wreckage.
