LA Clippers roster, trade rumors: Blake Griffin leaving for the Lakers?

Los Angeles Clippers trade rumors have been persistent that one of the team's star players Blake Griffin will be donning a different jersey next season.

A lot of teams are reportedly making attempts to snag Griffin from the LA Clippers. One of the clubs is the Chicago Bulls, who let go of Derrick Rose during the trade.

According to reports, Chicago is prepared to trade off Taj Gibson and Nikola Miroti to the Clippers in exchange for Griffin, who is deemed one of the greatest power forwards today.

The Bulls recently had Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade on board. Although the two are known to be amazing players, team coach Fred Hoiberg is not sure how they will work together with Jimmy Butler.

"Great players always figure it out. It has to be about one thing, and that's winning," Hoiberg told Chicago Tribune with regards to a Wade, Rondo and Butler trio.

"Based on who has the hot hand on any given night, you play through that guy, and the rest of the team plays off him," he went on to say.

Should the three strike the right balance, it is expected that the Chicago Bulls will be at contender level next season. It is believed that adding Griffin on the lineup will help the team make that happen.

Meanwhile, it is also being rumored that the Boston Celtics is also a possible landing spot for Griffin. The green and white team are reportedly looking to bring in Russell Westbrook to the party as well.

"One source says that the dream is both Griffin and Westbrook, but that Boston recognizes that is highly unlikely," Keith Smith or Real GM wrote.

"This source continues to insist that one or both will be in green by the start of the year and probably by the end of July. Not sure how much I buy in to that timing," he went on to say.
