Kristen Stewart is finally back in the U.S. after spending time in the Arab Peninsula to work with "Cloud of Sils Maria" director Olivier Assayas on "Personal Shopper," a new horror movie set in the fashion underworld.

The actress reportedly returned to the country from Oman to spend time with her loved ones during the holidays.

Stewart had been away from the U.S. to work on the new movie, set for release in 2016. It is currently in production in different places around the world. She was previously spotted in Paris to begin working on the film. More recently, the cameras were rolling in several provinces in northern Oman.

According to Gulf News, "Personal Shopper" will be shot on location in various places in the Arab country, including Muscat, Nizwa, and Bahla, particularly in the Bahla Historical Fort.

The movie will also be shot in other international locations such as Prague and London.

Little is known about the plot of the film, but "Personal Shopper" is believed to have the same fantasy dimension theme as "Sils Maria." Stewart will also be united with the film's production staff, including film producer Charles Gillibert.

The first collaboration between Stewart and Assayas in "Sils Maria" has been widely received by critics since its release in 2014. It even gave the 25-year-old actress the recognition of being the first American actress to win the prestigious César Award after winning the Best Supporting Actress category.

The actress can be considered an expert in supernatural genre movies. She became a household name when she portrayed the role of Bella Swan in the phenomenal box-office hit saga "Twilight" with ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson. She also starred in various indie films like Tim Blake Nelson's Anesthesia with Jesse Eisenberg.

But aside from her work for the upcoming movie, Stewart was also spotted gracing a fashion show at Cinecitta in Rome, Italy in early December.
