The long wait for "Kingdom Hearts III" might soon be over.

Fans of the soon-to-be released crossover action role-playing game were slightly disappointed when Square Enix did not reveal its official release date during the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015. However, the game developer appeased the public by showing an impressive new trailer during the said trade exhibit. Also, game director Tetsuya Nomura released more information about the title, including its possible release date, in his latest interviews with various publications.

Nomura told Japanese gaming magazine Dengeki PlayStation that he already knows when the game will come out, saying, "We've reached an agreement, but I still can't say anything. I plan to give new information at the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event that will be held on the 3rd of November."

The fan event for the "Kingdom Hearts" series will take place at the Cinema Ikspiari in Chiba on Nov. 3, three days before this year's D23 Expo Japan scheduled from Nov. 6 to 8.

Nomura also shared several gameplay information with Famitsu, saying that "Kingdom Hearts III's" battle system will not be needing some of the old deck commands like "Birth by Sleep." For the upcoming game, players can use classic commands such as "Attack" and "Magic."

The game director also revealed that the next installment in the "Kingdom Hearts" series will come with a free run system that would allow main protagonist Sora to do acrobatic movements like running up walls. This means that Sora will have more flexible movements compared to the previous installments.

It was also revealed that "Kingdom Hearts III" will have a lot of new worlds that players can explore, including several familiar ones like Rapunzel's tower from the movie "Tangled." The story of Xehanort will have its ending in the upcoming game as well.

"Kingdom Hearts III" was first announced during the E3 2013, and it is being developed for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
