After the success of his wife Kim Kardashian's video game titled "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood," rapper Kanye West is also planning to come up with his own video game as a tribute to his late mother.

In his latest interview with Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club" to discuss about the latest in his fashion line collaboration with Adidas, West briefly talked about the video game that he designed as a tie-up with his single "Only One." The song is dedicated to his mother Donda West who passed away in 2007 due to coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors after undergoing several plastic surgery procedures.

Although he did not elaborate about the details of the game, the rapper discussed his concept behind the game during the interview with the radio show.

"The idea is it's my mother going through the gates of Heaven," the hip hop artist shared, "and you gotta bring her to the highest gates of Heaven by holding her to the light."

The fashion and music super star also mentioned that he has been working on the video game project for six months already, but he did not mention what stage of the game's development he is currently on or which game studio he is currently working with.

Kanye openly talked about his closeness with his mother, and admitted that he had a hard time after he lost her. In a 2008 press conference in New Zealand, West broke his silence about his mother's tragic death.

He said, "It was like losing an arm and a leg and trying to walk through that."

The song "Only One," from which the concept of the game is adapted, is a collaboration with Paul McCartney. It was based on an imaginary conversation between his late mother and his 20-month-old daughter North "Nori" West.

At the moment, there are no reports yet about the release date of Kanye's upcoming video game.
