'Just Cause 3' release date: Game director believes players will try to break game

Game director Ronald Lesterlin admitted that "Just Cause 3" is the kind of video game that players can easily break.

In an interview with GameReactor, the director of the upcoming third installment from Avalanche Studios' "Just Cause" series recognizes the fact that some players of the open-world action adventure game will attempt to break it after it comes out in the market.

"You're always trying to figure it out, right. You're trying to say I bet you the devs didn't think I could do this. And so it's already that sort of game," Lesterlin said during the interview.

But it seems like the game developer is not worried about the possible game breaking that could happen. He even challenges them to start breaking the game as soon as they can.

Meanwhile, Lesterlin also shared that the upcoming third installment of the open world action adventure video game will delve deeper into Rico Rodriguez's past since the events in "Just Cause 3" takes place in the place where he grew up.

The game developer claimed that returning to the island that he had to escape when he was younger and where his parents passed away will be bittersweet for the game's protagonist. But he will still do it to eliminate the dictatorship regime led by General Di Ravello. At the same time, Rico will have a chance to combat the brutal reign of Di Ravello with the help of his childhood friends.

Meanwhile, game publisher Square Enix announced via Steam last September that the next "Just Cause" game will come out with a DLC pass titled "Air, Land, and Sea Expansion Pass."

According to the game description, the "Air, Land, and Sea Expansion Pass" will feature three DLC packs as well as an exclusive Flame Wingsuit and Parachute skins that cannot be purchased anywhere else.

The three downloadable packs will be released after the game comes out and will be activated one week earlier for all season pass holders. The skins will unlock as soon as the "Just Cause 3" game comes out.

"Just Cause 3" will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Dec. 1.
