With the release date confirmed for the much awaited dinosaur spin-off, the release of the official Jurassic World logo and a change of its social media profile pictures, it is clear that things are happening really fast for Jurassic World 2.

The release date was recently confirmed as June 22, 2018, and jsust as producer Frank Marshal describes the preparations are fast paced; with subtle yet defining changes expected.

"I just got back from London meeting with Juan Antonio and the production designer... full-boar pre-production to start shooting sometime early next Spring," the 69-year-old filmmaker told Collider editor-in-chief Steve Weintraub.

In keeping with the film's changing climate, Juan Antonio Bayona, famed director of The Impossible, is all set to succeed Colin Trevorrow as director for Jurassic World 2 while Trevorrow, will be busy with the screenplay of the sequel along with co-writer Derek Connolly, according to Yibada.

It is expected that Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard from the previous movie will retain their spots while the role of executive producer will be played by Steven Spielberg. Operating under the production name of Ancient Outposts, the production is lined up to kickoff early next year, on February 27, 2017, in Hawaii. However, most of the shooting will reportedly take place in London's Pinewood Studios

The highlight of 'Jurassic World 2' is that it is no longer a movie about some crazy dinosaurs chasing people to death on a little island like its predecessors but reportedly focuses on the idea of numerous companies stepping into the business of cloning dinosaurs, which sounds like a lot more intriguing storyline.

Given the massive success of "Jurassic World" in 2015, that earned it a staggering $1.67 billion at the box office the crew is under a lot of pressure to step-up in delivering quality entertainment to a flood of eagerly waiting audience.

Makers of the movie have admitted that the bar has been set quite high and that it is a huge challenge to deliver something of its scale while keeping up with audience expectations, budgets and coming up with fascinating action sequences involving the dinosaurs and people.
