It seems like Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Michael (Brett Dier) will have to delay their wedding because of the latest events in episode 16 of "Jane the Virgin" season 2.

In the previous episode, Jane and her mom Xo (Andrea Navedo) found out that "The Curse of Pablo" is real after Alba's (Ivonne Coll) former lover Pablo (guest star Marcelo Tubert) dropped by their home. During Pablo and Alba's romantic dinner, the pipe in their home suddenly ruptured, causing a huge flood inside the house. This means that Jane will be busy fixing their house.

Also, Jane will have a little conflict with her father Rogelio (Jaime Camil) regarding the wedding. According to the press release about the episode that was reported by Hollywood Hills, Jane is looking forward to having a small and intimate wedding. But her superstar father wants to have a lavish wedding so he can invite all of his popular friends, including guest star Charo.

But Rogelio will not be the only one who will hinder Jane's plans, since her baby daddy Rafael (Justin Baldoni) got wind of the news that she and Michael will move into a new home with their son Mateo, which happens to be 45 minutes away from their current home.

Rafael will not be keen on the idea that his son will live far from him. Will this also cause some problems with Rafael and Michael?

Meanwhile, Rafael's ex-wife and mother of his twin daughters Petra (Yael Grobglas) continues to struggle with her new role as a mother. It was revealed in the previous episode that Petra is very different from Jane, who became a doting mother the moment Mateo was born. Based on the teaser photos for the upcoming episode, Jane will be there to assist Petra so she can fully embrace motherhood.
