J.K. Simmons revealed a few details about his character in the upcoming "Justice League" films.

The actor who was casted in both "Justice League" movies told DP/30 that his role as Commissioner Gordon in the first film will be "very small," and he will only start working on the project sometime in June.

Simmons also talked about how he managed to get the role in the interview. "They asked me to come in and meet with Zack Snyder and we had a great meeting. I'm a big fan of what he's done and we hit it off and he asked me to do the guy," he said.

But while his role in "Justice League Part One" is relatively small, the actor revealed that there could be a chance to see Commissioner Gordon in other films under the DC Cinematic Universe. "I'm going into a thing that hopefully will be two, three, four... maybe more movies for me, and my part in the first one is really very small, but obviously we know who the guy is," Simmons said. "We know his whole backstory, based on the comic book."

Meanwhile, reports claim that aside from Ben Affleck's Batman, Henry Cavill's Superman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa's Aquaman, and Ezra Miller's The Flash, the "Justice League" films will also feature the Green Arrow and the Black Canary in the mix.

The Flash is being portrayed in The CW series by Grant Gustin, but he was replaced by "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" star in the big screen. If the speculations are correct, both the Green Arrow and the Black Canary will also be portrayed by different actors other than Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy from the TV series. However, both DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. have yet to confirm the news.

"Justice League Part One" is currently filming in London, and is expected to be released on November 17, 2017.
